Commercial Insurance Account Handler
We are a general insurance broker looking for a new account handler to join our expanding team within our Lancaster office, which deals with all classes of commercial insurance from existing and new clients.
You will be proactive with strong communication skills and have a desire to develop your professional career within a growing team.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years commercial insurance experience, Cert CII qualification or a desire to work towards this is required.
THE ROLE
The role has responsibility for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business, whilst carrying out full FCA compliance in all aspects of commercial insurance.
Maintaining a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.
Support account executives and/or working independently in retaining and developing a book of cross class commercial clients ensuring their insurance needs are met, however bespoke or non-standard.
Handle day to day enquiries from clients, pursuing new business from enquiry to policy, renewal inviting and retention.
Achieve targets for retention, new business and cross sales to other areas of our business.
Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with both clients and insurers, and provide expert product advice and guidance.
Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises in accordance with the individual T&C scheme applicable to you. Identify further areas for own development as required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Ideally minimum 2 years commercial experience; preferably from a broker background (other areas considered).
Good working knowledge of; Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines, Package.
Excellent organisation skills, high attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
Confident communicator, written and oral, willing to challenge and desire to build and maintain client and insurer relationships.
Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance.
Minimum higher education qualifications such as A Levels or equivalent. Must have GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English Language.
Minimum Cert CII or willingness to work towards.

Commercial Insurance Account Executive
We are Insurance Brokers looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to work form our our Lancaster office, which deals with all classes of Commercial Insurance for existing and new clients.
You will be proactive with strong communication skills and have a desire to develop your professional career within a growing team.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years Commercial Insurance experience and be already working in a client facing position. Applications from candidates who are not yet in this role, such as Account Handlers who are looking to move to a full sales role will be considered.
The use of your own vehicle is essential in this role and a business mileage allowance is paid.
THE ROLE
Be responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business and you will be rewarded accordingly.
Maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.
Use your relationship skills, rapport, and product knowledge to grow a book of commercial insurance clients and generate new clients by creating a pipeline of prospects.
Grasp opportunities for networking including attending available breakfast groups and the like. A budget is available for this.
Use your cross-selling skills to maximise the share of wallet from your clients.
Demonstrate a high level of client retention.
Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients, insurers and colleagues.

Good working knowledge of most classes of commercial lines insurance including Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines and Package.

Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance.
Experience of Open GI system preferable, but not essential.
A good standard of education with minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Maths and English,
